Who is responsible for your data?

This website is operated by Chinedum Onovo. For any questions about how your personal data is handled, contact chinedum@chinedum-onovo.co.uk.

What data is collected and why?

When you submit the contact form on this site, the following information is collected:

  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Subject and message content

This data is collected solely to respond to your enquiry. It is not used for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose.

The legal basis for processing is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — specifically, the mutual interest in being able to respond to a message you initiated.

Who processes your data?

Contact form submissions are handled by Formspree, a third-party form processing service. Formspree receives and forwards your message to my email inbox. Their privacy practices are described in the Formspree Privacy Policy.

No other third parties receive your personal data.

How long is your data kept?

Email correspondence containing your personal data is retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of receipt, after which it is deleted. Formspree's own retention period is set out in their privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data held about you
  • Rectification — ask for inaccurate data to be corrected
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data
  • Restriction — ask for processing to be limited
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, email chinedum@chinedum-onovo.co.uk. Requests will be responded to within one calendar month.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies itself. There is no analytics, advertising, or tracking on this site.

Two third-party services load resources when you visit or use the site:

  • Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google's CDN (fonts.googleapis.com). Google may log the request on their servers but does not set cookies on this domain. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Formspree — when you submit the contact form, your browser communicates with Formspree's servers. Formspree may use cookies on their own domain (formspree.io) for spam prevention. See the Formspree Privacy Policy.

If analytics or any other cookie-setting service is added to this site in the future, this notice will be updated and a consent banner will be displayed before any such cookies are set.

Complaints

If you believe your data has been mishandled, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.
